FraudGPT tool launches on dark web

Netenrich security researcher Rakesh Krishnan has reported the discovery of FraudGPT, a menacing model circulating in darknet forums and Telegram channels since July 22, 2023.

This model, available through subscription for $200 per month, $1,000 for six months, or $1,700 for a year boasts more than 3,000 confirmed sales and reviews, with CanadianKingpin as its enigmatic creator.

FraudGPT is an AI Chatbot that leverages the capabilities of generative models to produce realistic and coherent text. It operates by generating content based on user prompts, enabling hackers to craft convincing messages that can trick individuals into taking actions they normally wouldn’t.

The tool is capable of generating malicious code, creating undetectable malware, finding leaks, and identifying vulnerabilities. It can also be used to create convincing phishing pages, craft scam pages and letters, and help hackers find data leaks and security vulnerabilities.

FraudGPT empowers cybercriminals to generate malicious code, undetectable malware, phishing pages, and identify vulnerabilities. Moreover, it can expose Non-Verified by Visa (Non-VBV) bins, facilitating unauthorized transactions.
