5% of Google Workers Returning to Offices Each Week

December 6, 2021

Google’s vice president for real estate and workplace services, David Radcliffe, recently confirmed that 5% more employees have turned to work every week worldwide.

In the United States, 40% of the company’s employees have returned to work in recent weeks, he said, and the company’s decisions to return to work were mainly of their own violation.

The majority of those who have returned to work are young and recently hired workers. “People are actually showing voluntarily that they want to be back in the office. We’re moving in the right direction.”

Google has suspended the condition that workers return to the office indefinitely due to the emergence of the Omicron variant. However, as the company has an increasing number of employees returning to work, it is therefore working to create a working environment that allows workers to return.

This includes redesigning floor plans to create private, quiet spaces for distraction-free individual work, and adding conference and other collaboration spaces in open spaces both indoors and outdoors.
