Windows 11: Microsoft Investigates these Eight Problems

October 12, 2021

Eight notable issues users experienced when switching to the new Microsoft Windows 11 have surfaced in the midst of the release of the new operating system.

Problems include users’ Windows 11 using the Windows 10 taskbar instead of the revamped one designed for the new operating system.

Other issues that have emerged include the Windows 11 start menu not opening and according to users. If you try to open it, it just won’t open or will freeze.

Another problem is a performance issue that AMD claim will see users experience up to 5% CPU performance hit when using certain applications where some games have a value of up to set as high as a 15%. Additionally, another problem has to do with a faulty “This PC can’t run Windows 11” error that appears on some users’ Windows Update page, even if their hardware is compatible.

The fifth issue concerns File Explorer and its memory leak, which causes the application to consume too much system memory; the sixth issue concerns Windows 11 compatibility with Oracle VirtualBox, as virtual machines may not start if Oracle VirtualBox is installed on a Windows 11 device that has Hyper-V enabled.

The seventh issue entails Windows 11 comparability issues with the Intel “Killer” and Dell “SmartByte” network optimization apps, which cause User Datagram Protocol (UDP) to be dropped when communicating with remote devices. Finally, the compatibility problems with the Cc Cc browser, which prevent the browser from opening, cause other problems and errors at the same time.
