Google Pixel 8 launches

Google has officially launched its Pixel 8 family of smartphones, accompanied by upgraded accessories, including a smartwatch and earbuds. This comes after Google previously announced that it is set to integrate its Bard chatbot into Google Assistant.

Google’s Pixel 8 is is packed with new features like a new design with a more rounded metal frame and camera bar, a 6.2-inch display that refreshes at 120Hz, an updated Tensor 3 processor, a 5X optical zoom lens, and a thermometer sensor. It comes at a starting price of $699.

The Pixel 8 also comes with software improvements like new version of Google Assistant that’s powered by Bard, Google’s AI chatbot. It also comes with improved camera performance, as well as new features for Google Maps and other apps.

The phone is powered by the new Google Tensor 3 processor, which is said to be faster and more efficient than the previous-generation Tensor chip. The Pixel 8 also has a triple-lens rear camera system with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 5X optical zoom telephoto sensor.
