Mobile World Congress Will Be A Hybrid Event

May 25, 2021

The Mobile World Congress, which will take place in Barcelona next month, will be a hybrid event, as organizers aim to provide online access to the program to people who do not want to travel while welcoming thousands of participants who are willing to attend.

The event, which is one of the largest industry conferences in the world, will also include a range of high-tech solutions being introduced to ensure visitor safety.

These include regular COVID-19 rapid tests, a digital badge allowing access to the venue, an infection contact tracking app, and live monitoring of the site, which will allow organizers to control the number of people in a given area while requiring the use of face masks and one-way traffic control.
