According to recent reports, Microsoft will give its non-executive employees a one-time cash gift of $1500 for their work during the pandemic.

Given that the tech company made a huge profit during the pandemic, The Verge said workers below the vice president level who joined by March 31, 2021 at the latest, will be the beneficiaries of the bonus, including part-time workers.

In the first quarter of 2021, Microsoft recorded a 38% profit growth.

Google and Amazon also took part in rewarding their employees.
