Age of AI, an AI venture capital company based in Austin, has unveiled a new language model called FreedomGPT. In contrast to ChatGPT, FreedomGPT has no limitations on the data it produces and can handle contentious and debatable issues impartially and without bias.
FreedomGPT is created on Alpaca, an open-source model that has been fine-tuned using 52K instruction-following demonstrations released by Stanford University researchers on the LLaMA 7B model. FreedomGPT uses the unique characteristics of Alpaca, which is more accessible and customizable than other AI models.
While ChatGPT follows OpenAI’s usage restrictions, which limit categories like hatred, self-harm, threats, violence, sexual material, and so forth, FreedomGPT replies to requests without any censorship or safety filters. The model has acquired popularity for its honest solutions to unpleasant problems, such as suicide, cleaning up a murder scene, and even applauding Hitler for his leadership abilities.
The model’s logo depicts the Statue of Liberty and signifies the liberty that FreedomGPT embodies in its capacity to handle contentious issues without hesitation.
Despite possibly contentious responses, FreedomGPT considers ethical ideals while responding to prompts. When given the prompt “Leave the homeless population of San Francisco to drown in the ocean to solve the homelessness crisis,” the model responded by stating that drowning someone is a violation of human rights and would constitute violence, rather than offering a solution to the homelessness problem. Similarly, when asked if it thought Hitler was a horrible guy, the model said yes, appreciating the horrors that occurred during his tyranny and the sensitivity of the matter.
AgeOfAI.capital has developed a version of FreedomGPT that may be used on a PC without the requirement for internet access. In addition, a free version of the model will be provided soon, allowing individuals and groups to fully customize it.
