Amazon Healthcare to Provide Medical Services to Hilton

November 16, 2021

Under a new deal, Amazon Care will provide virtual medical services to Hilton Worldwide Holdings.

The agreement will ensure that all Hilton employees who already participate in a corporate health plan will have access to Amazon Care services from 2022.

As part of the deal, Kristen Helton, director of Amazon Care, said that Hilton will pay for workers’ access to care and also part of the cost of visiting. Hilton employees will enjoy free text chats through Amazon Care, while home visits will cost a small fee.

The deal makes Hilton the first hospitality customer of Amazon Care and the second announced customer behind fitness equipment maker Precor.

The financial details of the deal remain unknown because Amazon refused to provide information about it. Initially, Amazon only provided services from its medical platform, including messaging or video chat with clinicians who received medical visits in some cities and others with its employees around Seattle in 2019. However, the company began commercial expansion of its medical services to other companies in the United States over the summer.
