Amazon Web Services expands generative AI offerings

July 28, 2023

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced new additions to its generative AI offerings, including three new foundation models and a low-code automation tool. The new models, which come from Cohere, Anthropic, and Stability AI, give customers more flexibility and choice when building generative AI applications.

The new low-code automation tool, called “agents,” allows customers to automate complex tasks and deliver customized, up-to-date answers for their applications based on their proprietary data.

AWS also introduced a new support for the NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPU-powered compute capabilities, an ML-augmented vector search tool for OpenSearch Serverless, and generative AI enhancements to AWS’s QuickSight BI service.

AWS says that the new additions to its generative AI offerings will help customers build more innovative and scalable applications.
