Apple Asks U.S. Employees to Report Vaccination Status

September 2, 2021

Apple has declared that will now require its U.S. employees to report their vaccination status as the number of COVID-19 cases in the country increases.

The tech giant has urged its workers to report their status “voluntarily” by mid-September, whether they are working in the office or remotely.

The U.S. Centres for Disease Control and Prevention is now mandating that fully vaccinated people wear masks, prompting companies to reconsider relaxing vaccination and mask policies.

Major technology companies are also delaying their return to the office, as the highly contagious Delta variant has led to a resurgence of new COVID-19 infections.
