Apple support service provider Jamf recently announced that it will acquire Wandera, a company that specializes in providing cloud-based software for “zero trust” security in a deal worth $400 million.

Jamf said the deal will be paid in cash and debt will prompt the company to pay $350 million upfront to Wandera.

In addition, an additional $50 million fee will be paid in two installments later in the year.

Jamf CEO Dean Hager stated that the acquisition of Wandera “will provide our customers a single-source platform that handles deployment, Application Lifecycle Management, policies, filtering, and security capabilities across all Apple devices while delivering Zero Trust Network Access for all mobile workers.”
