Apple To Expand Its Retail Operations Post-pandemic

June 25, 2021

As Apple seeks to combine various strategies developed before and during the COVID-19 pandemic to increase its popularity, the tech giant will expand its retail business to meet the post-pandemic future, according to Deirdre O’Brien, senior vice president of retail and people at Apple.

Since part of Apple’s retail success during the pandemic stems from streamlining its online shopping and personal collection, the company will maintain the strategies that helped it through the pandemic and reflect new trends in shopping behaviors.

These include ordering things online and doubling the pre-pandemic strategy of in-store events and experiences that go beyond shopping.

As part of a wider retail strategy, the company will ensure that the express desks, which were essential for quick online ordering, become a regular part of the company’s more than 500 stores worldwide.
