The Biden administration recently announced the formation of the National Artificial Intelligence Research Resource Task Force, as part of the administration’s pivotal effort to accelerate technological progress within the United States.

The group includes 10 Al experts from the public, private, and academic sectors who will develop a plan to give Al researchers more access to data, computing resources, and other tools.

The group will also establish the National Al Research Resource, which is designed for Al researchers and students of all scientific disciplines.

Lynne Parker, deputy director for AI in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, will co-chair the Al task force alongside National Science Foundation senior advisor Erwin Gianchandani, which will also include DefinedCrowd CEO Daniela Braga, Google Cloud AI chief Andrew Moore and Stanford’s Fei-Fei Li.
