A mysterious bidder has recently won an auction to travel to space aboard a reusable rocket made by Jeff Bezos’ space company Blue Origin.

The auction winner will pay $28 million for the ticket to space.

According to Blue Origin, which has registered nearly 7,600 people from 159 countries to bid for a vehicle called New Shepard to fly abroad, the space mission, which will take place on July 20, is expected to last about 11 minutes, meaning it will cost $2.545 million per minute or $42,424 per second.

While Blue Origin said the identity of the mysterious auction winner will soon be revealed, the company says the $28 million will be donated to Blue Origin’s foundation, Club for the Future, “to inspire future generations to pursue careers in STEM and help invent the future of life in space.”
