Data Breach Targets McDonald’s In South Korea And Taiwan

McDonald’s Corporation, an American fast-food company, recently announced that it was affected by a data leak after unauthorized activities on its network leaked data from its customers in South Korea and Taiwan.

While the company said the incident was quickly identified and controlled, it also announced it would take steps to notify regulators and affected customers, although no customer payment information was disclosed during the breach.

McDonald’s also said it will use research results, combined with input from security resources, to find ways to better strengthen its existing security measures and protocols.
