June 10, 2021

Tech giant Facebook announced Wednesday it will expand its remote control capabilities from June 15 for employees whose work can be done outside the office.

While the company will fully open its U.S. offices by September with 50% capacity and by October, its offices in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific will open with 50% capacity by the end of 2021.

While Facebook expects its returning employees to be on site at least 50% of the time, the company is also supporting opportunities for employees working in the United States to move to Canada from July 15, as well as employees in EMEA to move to the UK from anywhere.
