Facebook revealed plans to introduce new features, including one that encourages teenagers to take a break while using Instagram.
There will also be new controls for adults of teenagers who give parents or guardians the privilege of knowing what their teens are doing online.
The announcement was made by Facebook’s vice president for global affairs, Nick Clegg, during the rounds of various Sunday news shows. He explained in one of his interviews, “We are constantly iterating to improve our products. We cannot, with a wave of the wand, make everyone’s life perfect. What we can do is improve our products, so that our products are as safe and as enjoyable to use.”
The company has invested $13 billion in recent years to better secure the platform, with 40,000 employees actively working on the problems.
