According to Gartner, government IT spending will reach $589.8 billion in 2023, a 7.6% rise over the previous year.

Expenditure on Data Center Systems is expected to rise by 3.3% to $26,623 million, while expenditure on Devices will fall by 4.6% to $32,643 million. Internal Services spending will increase by 3.3% to $69,178 million, while IT Services will increase by 8.9% to $209,103 million. Software spending will rise 13.5% to $183,733 million.

Spending on Telecom Services will rise by 1.4% to $68,514 million. Overall, government IT spending is expected to reach $589,794 million in 2023, representing a 7.6% increase over the previous year.
