Home Deport Restructure Executives, Names New CIO

U.S. home improvement retailer, Home Deport has elevated SVP of IT, Fahim Siddiqui to the role of EVP and CIO.

Home Deport former EVP and CIO, Mart Carey will now serve the company as the EVP of customer experience. Both Siddiqui and Carey will to the company’s CEO Ted Decker.

Siddiqui’s new role means he will henceforth lead all aspects of the company’s enterprise technology strategy. This includes infrastructure and software development.

The leadership restructures will further boost the company’s desire to blend customer experience with technology.

According to a spokesperson for Home Deport, the new leadership structure will allow the company to build solutions that “make home improvement faster and more convenient.”

The company is looking to synergize its structure more with its goal to interconnect the digital snd physical sales channels.

Already, the company is enjoying the result of its customer-centric approach and this can be seen in its most recent earnings report. The company posted earnings of $16.4 billion for the fiscal year 2021. This marks a 27% leap from the previous fiscal year.
