HP launches Spectre Fold

September 15, 2023

HP has announced the Spectre Fold, a new foldable device that can be used as a laptop, tablet, and desktop computer. It’s the first of its kind, and it comes with a price tag of $5,000.

The Spectre Fold has a 17-inch OLED touchscreen display that can be folded in half to create a 12-inch laptop with a second screen for additional workspace. The keyboard can also be removed completely, transforming the device into a tablet. When propped up with its built-in stand, the Spectre Fold can also be used as a desktop computer.

HP is promising up to 12 hours of battery life for the Spectre Fold, and it’s powered by a 12th Generation Intel Core i7 processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics, 16GB of memory, and 1TB of SSD storage.

It has a 5 MP camera for video needs and Intel Unison to connect mobile devices, and it is available for pre-order now from Best Buy with a launch date next month.
