iPhone Bug That Can Break Wi-Fi Is Easy To Fix

A bug discovered by a reverse engineer, Carl Schou causes the Wi-Fi functionality of the iPhone to break when connecting to a Wi-Fi hotspot with a specific name.

This bug can be easily prevented.

Go to Settings, then select General, Reset, and finally Reset Network Settings after which users will reconfigure their network settings.

To prevent the bug from occurring, user’s can switch to Settings, click Wi-Fi and make sure auto-join hotspots are set to “Ask to join” or “Never.”
