LinkedIn Is Now A $10 Billion Business, Says Microsoft

July 28, 2021

Microsoft officials announced that LinkedIn’s revenue exceeded $1 billion due to the strong advertising demand for Marketing Solutions.

This means that LinkedIn is now part of the various Microsoft companies that generate $10 billion annually.

In its fourth-quarter FY21 earnings announcement, Microsoft said that revenue from its LinkedIn subsidiary had increased 46% year-on-year.

In addition to the need for marketing solutions, this increase could also be attributed to job recruitment in general after the pandemic.

Microsoft has several other businesses that generate $10 billion yearly, but gaming, security and LinkedIn are the latest.

Microsoft bought LinkedIn in 2016 for $26.2 billion.
