Meta propose employee morale boosters

June 13, 2023

The consequences of Meta’s layoffs have left the remaining employees grappling with the consequences and low on morale. An employee survey revealed that only 26% of employees expressed confidence in leadership, with others taking part in learning new roles, and trying to figure out what’s going on.

To boost morale, CEO Mark Zuckerberg convened a company-wide meeting at which he emphasized the company’s projected product roadmap and artificial intelligence breakthroughs. One of these is a new AI photo-generation tool that will be able to edit users’ photos via text prompts. He also indicated that Meta will demand employees to work at the office at least three days every week.

Meta will also begin experimenting with ChatGPT-style conversational artificial intelligence bots based on its big language model, LLaMA. Furthermore, Meta employees will get the opportunity to test an internal productivity assistant, which will assist them with duties ranging from generating code to reminding them of the company’s shuttle service timetables.

While some employees are ecstatic about the company’s new goals, other employees, are still trying to acclimate to the changes.
