In terms of communication and collaboration, Microsoft introduced its Teams software in 2017 as an integrated product for chats, phone calls and managing projects and tasks. In the future, the company says, it will add unlimited dial-in options for Microsoft Teams meetings in the coming months.

In terms of security, Microsoft said that Microsoft 365 added new features such as data loss prevention (DLP) for emails and documents, sensitivity labels and message encryption.

Finally, to take advantage of artificial intelligence and automation, Microsoft 365 has taken on such innovations as AI-based real-time translation, captioning and transcription.
