During the “Future of Artificial Intelligence” global tour start event at Clark Atlanta University in Georgia, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman revealed that OpenAI is working to produce ChatGPT models that comply with copyright rules.
Altman acknowledged that OpenAI is working on methods to ensure that content producers are compensated when AI systems use their material or style because some people see generative AI as a type of intellectual property violation.
He went on to say that last week’s White House meeting on artificial intelligence (AI) emphasized on the necessity for rules requiring AI systems to identify themselves. He indicated that he supports this stance because consumers need to know whether they are speaking with an artificial intelligence system or not.
While Altman is excited about the possibilities of AI, he acknowledges that certain vocations will become obsolete. He mentioned that one area where employment may be lost is customer service. Nonetheless, he is dedicated to researching how artificial intelligence might minimize bias and discrimination in the world.
