‘Otter Assistant’ Can Automatically Transcribe Zoom Calls

May 20, 2021

The Ai-based audio transcription service Otter is making it easier to catch up on Zoom meetings with the new feature Otter Assistant.

Otter Assistant automatically connects and transcribes Zoom meetings, TechCrunch reports.

By linking to a Google or Microsoft calendar, Otter Assistant instantly joins Zoom meetings and transcribes them as they take place.

The function can be easily switched on and off to adjust it as needed.

The feature comes just a year after Otter introduced its “Live Video Meeting Notes” feature, which allows users to open a real-time transcription for people attending Zoom calls.

Otter also launched “Live Notes,” which transforms zoom call audio into captions.

Otter Assistant is available to users with Otter.ai Business accounts, which can be added to the free version for $20 per month.
