Priceline partners Google AI chatbot

Priceline, a Booking Holdings subsidiary, is collaborating with Google Cloud to introduce AI technologies to its platform. This cooperation intends to enhance the trip booking experience by including interactive and conversational elements.

Priceline’s CEO, Brett Keller, emphasizes the AI chatbot’s effectiveness in helping clients swiftly limit down their trip options. AI technology integration is intended to assist customers make more educated decisions and enhance customer care response times.

The deal will allow Priceline agents to swiftly access and evaluate complicated data, lowering client wait times. Google Cloud is delivering tools and capabilities to Priceline to improve data collecting and customer service. In addition, Priceline guests will benefit from a generative AI-powered chatbot that will provide tailored hotel suggestions, increasing their interactive experience.

Priceline’s Chief Technology Officer, Marty Brodbeck, stated that the company’s mission is to create long-term value for both consumers and the company. Brodbeck characterized the chatbot as a personal concierge in an interview with Reuters, allowing consumers to readily access relevant details like the Bryant Park Christmas market while booking lodgings.
