July 16, 2021

Accenture’s 2021 Cyber Threat Intelligence Report shows that cybercriminals are becoming bolder and more aggressive in targeting manufacturing and other critical infrastructures while testing new methods of extortion.

With the global Ransomware crisis, which is entering a new phase, the threat actors are now using stronger pressure tactics, including these four ransomware techniques, which are the local denial of access; extortion by leak, distributed denial-of-service (DDoS), and contact with a victim’s customers.
