Spotify Fixes Crash Issue Days After Major Outage

November 19, 2021

Online music streaming platform Spotify has solved a recent crash problem that has left many users frustrated and unable to access the site.

The complaint on DownDetector saw a sharp drop in reported problems with Spotify and users on Twitter confirmed that the service is now working for them.

Before the problem was fixed, reports on various social networks confirmed that Spotify was down again after an initial major outage this week. Analysis of data from DownDetector revealed that the first problem affecting Spotify was reported by users around 8 a.m. PT and since then more than 4,500 users have reported various types of problems with Spotify.

Some of these problems include problems with the Spotify app, and others report problems with the site and audio streaming in general.

The site confirmed the news on its Twitter account, saying it was affected by problems and that the company’s engineers were working to fix the issue.
