New U.S. CIO Appointments In June 2022

Several appointments have been made to the role of the CIO in various organizations in the United States.

Northwestern Mutual, a multibillion-dollar company that provides insurance, annuities, brokerage and advisory services, has appointed Jeff Sippel as the company’s CIO.

Target, a general merchandise retailer in the US, promoted the company’s SVP of Digital Brett Craig to EVP and CIO. The appointment became necessary after Target’s executive vice president and CIO Mike McNamara announced his intention to retire.

Springs Windows Fashions, a global supplier of blinds, shades, specialty treatments and window hardware has appointed Chetan Balsara as its new CIO.

Black Rifle Coffee Company (BRCC), a new premium coffee company created to support veterans, active duty military personnel and first responders, has appointed Chris Clark as its CTO.

Brown & Brown, a leading insurance brokerage firm, has appointed Kiet Tran as the new CTO of the company, which employs more than 12,000 people in more than 350 locations in the United States and selected global markets.

Cedars-Sinai, a nonprofit academic health organization serving the diverse community of Los Angeles and beyond, has named Craig Kwiatkowski as the company’s new CIO.
