Cisco Sets Hybrid Plan With No Time In Office Mandate

Cisco Systems announced that it would set up a hybrid work schedule without forcing employees to go to the office.

The company’s hybrid approach, which is also its unique selling point, ensures that Cisco management leaves teams to find the best way to work and determine how often employees go to the office.

While the company will use WebEx, Cisco’s secure collaboration platform, for its hybrid work plan, new talent will be recruited within the company through its hybrid approach.

Cisco’s general manager, Todd Nightingale, said the company is used to hybrid work but needs to fix some technical issues.

For example, Cisco has used its own WebEx as a collaboration suite, so networking must be in place for secure access.

Wireless connectivity is also something that will be crucial for hybrid work.
