Apple Lists Products That Could Affect Medical Devices

Given that many consumer electronics devices contain parts such as magnets that have a strong tendency to disrupt medical devices, tech giant Apple recently released a list of its products that should maintain a “safe distance” from medical devices such as pacemakers and implanted defibrillators.

These include the iPhone 12, Apple Watch and MacBook Pro models.

According to Apple, the listed products should be kept more than 15 cm away from medical devices, and the distance should be doubled if they are charged wirelessly.
