ChatGPT adds Bing browsing update for Plus users

ChatGPT has announced that ChatGPT Plus users will now be able to access Bing-powered browsing on the app to search the web and get the latest information on any topic.

To access this feature, Plus users need to go to the “new features” section in their app settings, select GPT-4 in the model switcher, and choose the “Browse with Bing” drop-down. Once this feature is enabled, users can simply type a question or phrase into ChatGPT, and it will return a list of search results from Bing.

Access to this feature is currently limited to iOS users. However, OpenAI has said that it plans to make Bing browsing available to all ChatGPT users in the future.

In addition to the Bing browsing update, ChatGPT has also made improvements to its search history on mobile. Now, when users tap on a search result, they will be taken to the respective point in the conversation where they asked the question. This makes it easier for users to find the information they are looking for.
