CloudLinux Offers CentOS 8 Users a Support Lifeline

CloudLinux recently announced that it will provide updates and support for CentOS 8 until December 31, 2025.

This will grant CentOS 8 customers a much-needed lifeline, as it will give businesses more time to find the right Linux distribution.

CloudLinux would still recommend CentOS 8 users to migrate to its CloudLinux operating system, designed as a powerful, lightweight server for multitenancy web and server hosting providers.

This new CloudLinux TuxCare Extended Lifecycle Service offering includes round-the-clock support and changes for system components on Linux operating systems that are no longer supported by the original vendor because they have reached the best-before date.

CentOS 8 thus complements TuxCare Extended Lifecycle Support, which covers outdated Linux distributions such as Ubuntu 16.04, CentOS 6 and Oracle 6.
