Domain Name Stat reports 156% increase in .ai domain registrations

New data from Domain Name Stat has revealed a surge in .ai domain registrations, indicating the increasing importance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the tech industry. Over the past year, .ai domain registrations have experienced a staggering 156% increase, surpassing the mere 27% growth rate of .com domains during the same period.

The latest figures show that the number of registered domains under .ai has reached over 170,000, underscoring the rising prominence of AI in various sectors. These statistics, obtained from multiple data sources, are continuously updated.

Looking at the historical data for domain registrations, in 2020, the number of registered domains steadily increased from 20,000 in January to 29,000 in July. However, for more recent figures, the data collected in May 2023 says on May 31, there were 74 registered domains, followed by 114 on May 30, and 111 on May 29. The number fluctuates daily, with the highest count recorded on May 26 at 143 registrations.

These figures demonstrate the consistent growth in .ai domain registrations, signifying the increasing adoption of AI technologies across industries.
