Hacker Fugitive Commander X Arrested in Mexico

U.S. law enforcements arrested Chris “Commander X” Doyon this week, a decade after he skipped a federal hacking charge and left the country.

Although no details were given, the news was confirmed by a press release from the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of California and the announcement of Doyon’s arrest.

The government provided a list of the agencies involved in the search for him, including the FBI, the FBI’s Mexico City legal attaché, the FBI’s Cellular Analysis Survey Team Unit, Mexico City Task Force consisting of agents from the Mexican Agencia de Investigación Criminal, Mexican State Police and Prosecutors in the State of Morelos, Mexican Immigration, Interpol, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection, and a few more.
