Microsoft infuses ChatGPT into Bing

ChatGPT, an advanced conversational and creative response system, is now incorporated into the new Bing update released by Microsoft.

The new intelligent chatbot will live alongside Bing’s search results, putting AI that can summarize web pages, synthesize disparate sources, and even compose and translate emails into the hands of more consumers.

Microsoft is transforming Bing into “AI-powered co-pilot for the web” by incorporating OpenAI’s large language model into its search results. Bing’s new chat window offers shopping lists, travel advice, trivia games, and more. Microsoft Edge incorporates the technology, allowing it to summarize PDFs and create LinkedIn posts.

The most recent Bing can also retrieve recent event news. During the demo, the search engine was able to answer questions about its launch by citing recent news stories.

Microsoft has launched two AI-enhanced features for its Edge browser, ‘chat’ and ‘compose,’ with the new Bing. These functions are built into the Edge sidebar.

Users can test a preview version of the new “AI-powered co-pilot” technology on bing.com using a limited number of Microsoft-prepared queries.
