New WNS Report Highlights Recent Digital Transformations

WNS published a report highlighting the demand for digital transformation, its acceleration during the pandemic, and the challenges associated with these changes.

According to the report, 90% of companies that failed to accelerate digital transformation due to the COVID-19 pandemic suffered business losses. Notably, 97% of the 101 digital transformation leaders surveyed said that they have “started delivering their digital transformation strategies,” with 28% noting that digital transformation is now part of their companies’ DNA.

Concerning hiring practices and plans implemented to improve digital literacy knowledge, 77% of respondents said that they have provided executives with data literacy training to train employees the skills needed to work with data-driven technologies. 22% plan to do so later in the year.

Concerning data governance maturity, only 1% of respondents describe their level as “expert,” 44% as “advanced,” 51% as “intermediate” and 4% as “beginner.”
