A recent survey of 3,500 U.S. workers showed that 68% of respondents prefer to work remotely than in the office.

The survey was conducted by GoodHire, an employment screening service provider.

61% of workers surveyed said they were willing to take a pay cut to work from home permanently.

Other respondents also indicated that they would be willing to accept a 50% pay cut, and research showed that 70% of respondents were willing to sacrifice benefits such as health, dental or visual insurance, paid leave, gym membership, and retirement benefits in order to continue working from home.

The survey seems to reinforce the current situation, which shows a trend that work no longer has to be done only in the office.

At the moment, some companies have already embraced remote working, while others are creating plans that give workers the advantage of working remotely and together with in-office work.
