{"id":11098,"date":"2021-08-24T09:44:35","date_gmt":"2021-08-24T13:44:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.technewsday.com\/?p=11098"},"modified":"2021-08-25T08:50:04","modified_gmt":"2021-08-25T12:50:04","slug":"google-meet-warns-user-when-device-causes-an-echo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/technewsday.com\/staging\/google-meet-warns-user-when-device-causes-an-echo\/","title":{"rendered":"Google Meet  Warns User When Device Causes An Echo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Google will now notify users when they cause an echo during video calls and give tips on how to stop it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Echoes &#8220;happen when the system feeds back audio into a call.&#8221; When an annoying echo occurs, Google Meet notifies the user via a red badge on the Options and Text Notification button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tapping the Troubleshooting and Help window opens on &#8220;Audio &amp; video devices.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Google also gives a brief explanation and makes recommendations such as using headphones, lowering speaker volume and muting when not speaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This feature is enabled by default and comes into effect today.
