A recent survey of 3,500 U.S. workers showed that 68% of respondents prefer to work remotely than in the office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The survey was conducted by GoodHire, an employment screening service provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
61% of workers surveyed said they were willing to take a pay cut to work from home permanently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Other respondents also indicated that they would be willing to accept a 50% pay cut, and research showed that 70% of respondents were willing to sacrifice benefits such as health, dental or visual insurance, paid leave, gym membership, and retirement benefits in order to continue working from home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The survey seems to reinforce the current situation, which shows a trend that work no longer has to be done only in the office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the moment, some companies have already embraced remote working, while others are creating plans that give workers the advantage of working remotely and together with in-office work.<\/p>\n\n\n
