{"id":17514,"date":"2022-01-07T15:01:15","date_gmt":"2022-01-07T20:01:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.technewsday.com\/?p=17514"},"modified":"2022-01-10T09:26:49","modified_gmt":"2022-01-10T14:26:49","slug":"suspect-who-stole-unpublished-books-in-phishing-attacks-arrested","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/technewsday.com\/staging\/suspect-who-stole-unpublished-books-in-phishing-attacks-arrested\/","title":{"rendered":"Suspect Who Stole Unpublished Books In Phishing Attacks Arrested"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Department of Justice confirmed in a press release the arrest of a 29-year-old Fillippo Bernardini who allegedly was involved in a fraudulent scheme in which hundreds of manuscripts were obtained in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bernardini also allegedly sent phishing emails targeting employees of a New York City-based literary scouting firm. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>FBI&#8217; New York Office Assistant Director-in-Charge Michael J.
