Human resource company Ceridian has revealed the three things new and current employees want in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The three demands include more flexibility, elastic hiring within the workplace, and increased benefits. Ceridian surveyed nearly 3,000 people from the United States, U.K., Canada, and Australia for its report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the flexibility demand, a large proportion of respondents were positive about their job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The reason for this is that employers are now allowing them to achieve their goals one of which includes getting a promotion. To meet this demand, Ceridian notes that keeping optimism high remains an important criterion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With regard to the demand for elastic hiring within the workplace, employers are recommended to follow a practice called “elastic hiring,” whereby employees are divided into different roles according to their needs in order to meet the skills learned and developed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Employees can help meet the demand for higher performance by focusing on the mental and physical financial well-being of their employees in different ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Formalizing more intentional connections through sponsorship and mentorship, encouraging mobility, investing in seamless onboarding and leveraging the right workforce technologies are a few musts for employers to consider when thinking about how to improve the experience for hybrid or remote employees,” said Susan Tohyama, chief human resources officer at Ceridian.<\/p>\n\n\n
