{"id":19449,"date":"2022-02-22T11:40:33","date_gmt":"2022-02-22T16:40:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.technewsday.com\/?p=19449"},"modified":"2022-02-23T11:12:23","modified_gmt":"2022-02-23T16:12:23","slug":"apple-to-unveil-new-macs-powered-by-apple-silicon-chips","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/technewsday.com\/staging\/apple-to-unveil-new-macs-powered-by-apple-silicon-chips\/","title":{"rendered":"Apple To Unveil New Macs Powered By Apple Silicon Chips"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Apple will launch new Macs in 2022, which will be fitted with updated Apple Silicon chips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Bloomberg&#8217;s Mark Gurman, Mac updates in 2022 are expected to include a new Mac mini with an M1 Pro chip, a 13-inch MacBook Pro with an M2 chip that will replace the 2020 model and sit below the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro, a Mac mini with an M2 chip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Others include a 24-inch iMac with an M2 chip, a redesigned MacBook Air with an M2 chip, a larger iMac Pro with M1 Pro and M1 Max chip options, and a half-sized Mac Pro, the first with Apple Silicon, with the equivalent of either two or four M1 Max chips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gurman also highlighted the expected Macs based on three Apple Silicon lines.
