Although Google Maps may not be exactly a social network like Facebook and others, its recent features make it more social than people might realize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even if you may not be aware that you have ever posted a review of a particular review, you have a Google Maps profile, which people see when they look at that review. A new feature allows a person to edit their Google Maps profile on their phone. After opening the app, the you tap &#8216;contribute&#8217;, then &#8216;view your profile&#8217;, and finally click on &#8216;Edit profile&#8217;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After editing the Google Maps profile, another feature makes it even more like a social network where you can follow and follow people. To follow someone in the Google Maps app, the person only has to click on a name in a review or select a rating and then select &#8220;follow.&#8221; There are ways to see your followers and not follow people.
