Zoho Corporation has launched Ulaa, a new web browser focused on privacy and security.<\/p>\n
Ulaa, meaning ‘journey’ in Tamil, has been developed to give users control over their personal information and to block unwanted ads, surveillance, and third-party mechanisms. In addition to these features, Ulaa also allows for seamless browsing across devices.<\/p>\n
Praval Singh, Zoho Corporation’s Vice President of Marketing and Customer Experience, shared in an interview with AIM that the browser had been in development for over three years, with a focus on creating a secure browsing option for users. While the browser currently does not incorporate generative AI technology, Singh noted that Zoho is exploring secure and privacy-preserving ways to integrate AI features in the future, with the aim of enhancing Ulaa’s capabilities.<\/p>\n
