It went on to say that if the subreddits don&#8217;t comply, they &#8220;will not remain private beyond the time frame we&#8217;ve allowed for confirmation of plans here.&#8221; Reddit also threatened to replace moderators who do not act in the best interests of their community.<\/p>\n<p data-ar-index=\"3\">The community cannot stay closed to its millions of members after the deadline, according to ModCodeofConduct. It then advised that future moderating proposals be addressed in a restricted setting while giving them time to be considered.
