Schumer said he wants Congress to &#8220;approach AI with humility&#8221; and avoid making the same mistakes that were made with globalization.<\/p>\n<p data-ar-index=\"3\">The forums will cover topics include copyright, workforce issues, national security, high-risk AI models, existential risks, privacy, transparency and explainability, and elections and democracy. It will be co-organized by Sens. Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.), Mike Rounds (R-S.D.), and Todd Young (R-Ind.).<\/p>\n<p data-ar-index=\"4\">Schumer said he believes that the forums will help senators develop a &#8220;shared understanding&#8221; of AI and the challenges it poses.
