In a comment to TechCrunch, a Google spokesperson revealed: &#8220;Pixel 5a 5G is not cancelled. It will be available later this year in the US and Japan and announced in line with the launch of last year&#8217;s A-Series phone.&#8221; The timeframe means that the device&#8217;s arrival will be around late summer, meaning that the device will not be available for Google I \/ O in May, as many had predicted. Google also limits the device&#8217;s availability to two countries for launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While Google&#8217;s Pixel line hasn&#8217;t taken the world by storm, leading to long-standing rumors that the company wants to shake things up, The Verge notes that it hasn&#8217;t been particularly valuable when it comes to product announcements.
