Only 18% of respondents indicated they would trust tech leaders to control artificial intelligence, while 82% said they would not. As a result, the majority of respondents (56%) indicated they would like to see AI regulated by a federal body.<\/p>\n<p data-ar-index=\"4\">The poll also found that a majority of respondents (72%) would rather see the development of AI slow down, compared to 8% who want to see it speed up.<\/p>\n<p data-ar-index=\"5\">These findings suggest that the public is increasingly concerned about the potential dangers of AI and wants it to be regulated in a responsible way.
